Time and Light In Conjunction

Photographs taken in tide pools on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Taiwan and California, at the time when the moon pulls the ocean, stepping into this time and place transformation when the tide is falling and rising. A photograph of a tide pool from either side of the Pacific is merged into one photograph, where the passage of time, the movements of the sun and moon, the light, reflections, celestial interventions, cosmological transformations, where the universe reflects itself upon the surface of the ocean become indivisible with one another, where each tide pool loses itself within the other.
